Some top best-rated places to eat in Brooklyn are:

  • Xilonen. This newly opened Mexican restaurant from the Oxomoco and Speedy Romeo groups has several tables in its hot and half hot setting. A few unoccupied outdoor tables are also found on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant.

  • Kokomo. Williamsburg newcomer Kokomo, who arrived in the city this summer and quickly established himself as a recreational vibe backing out, has transformed its street setting into a vibrant restaurant. Go for wooden flatbread stuffed with bound oxtail.

  • Tailgate Outdoor Sports Bar. Completed as an outdoor sports bar, the new Tailgate in Williamsburg has 20 independent “cabanas” with redesigned shipping containers. Each table is equipped with an air-conditioned heater and a wide-screen television, while diners can order a ride on a food truck and a cold beer at their party.

  • Bolero. The luxury Vietnamese restaurant, which opened on Bedford Avenue less than a month before the interior closed last March, has reopened with table lamps and extra tar to keep guests warm in winter.
